Apple's design features a slender green tree with multiple tiers of vibrant colored flags hanging from its branches, resembling traditional decorations seen during the Tanabata Festival.

Google's rendition shows a stylized version of the tanabata tree with a simple yet elegant look, depicting a straight trunk supporting several horizontal levels, each bearing differently colored paper banners fluttering gracefully.

Twitter's interpretation presents a detailed illustration of a tanabata tree standing on a flat base, embellished with numerous multicolored flags tied to its limbs, capturing the essence of festive adornments associated with the event.
